Dental Office Manager

About the Role
The Office Manager will work closely with the Manager, Clinical Operations and dentists to ensure smooth daily operations, excellent patient experiences, and strong team collaboration. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing people management, administrative responsibilities, and problem-solving in a fast-paced healthcare setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily clinic operations, including scheduling, patient flow, and front desk support.
- Lead, motivate, and coach team members to deliver outstanding service.
- Support financial management, including billing accuracy, accounts receivable, and reporting.
- Manage staff schedules, onboarding, and training.
- Assist with compliance and regulatory requirements (e.g., infection control, privacy standards).
- Handle patient concerns professionally and ensure a positive resolution.
- Collaborate with the leadership team to improve workflows and enhance patient care.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in dental, medical, or healthcare office management preferred.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with a patient-first mindset.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, healthcare management, or a related field is considered an asset.
- Proficiency with Cleardent software, RecallMax and office applications is an asset.
- Ability to balance multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
