Overview
We are seeking a senior, Dental Receptionist / Treatment Coordinator with a minimum of 5 years of dental experience. This individual is highly organized, detail-oriented and has an excellent grasp of dental procedures, dental codes and computer technology. Candidates must have several years experience working in a dental office and should feel very comfortable with a wide variety of computer software. This role requires a proactive individual who is an excellent team player and can help to patients understand dental treatment and procedures. The Administrator will play a crucial role in enhancing operational efficiency and delivering high-quality patient care.
Duties
- Administrative roles including but not limited to: greeting and communicating with patients, booking appointments, helping patients with insurance inquiries, paperwork and documentation
- Ensure compliance with PIPEDA regulations and maintain confidentiality of dental records
- Implement and manage EMR/EHR systems to streamline patient information processing
Requirements
- Must have previous experience working in a dental office. Minimum experience 5 years.
- Familiarity with dental software, preferably ABELDent
- Strong understanding of dental terminology, tooth numbering etc.
- Strong understanding of dental treatments and billing
- Dental assisting experience and HARP certification are an asset
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills for interacting with patients and fellow team members

Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour
