Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. Duties
- Perform dental prophylaxis, including cleaning and polishing teeth to remove plaque, tartar, and stains
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene practices and preventive care
- Periodontal charting and assessments
- Collaborate with dentists and dental assistants to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Maintain accurate patient records using dental management software
- Support the dental team with sterilization and infection control procedures
- Address patient questions and concerns with professionalism and empathy
Qualifications
- Valid Dental Hygienist license in Alberta
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a Dental Hygienist
- Experience with Curve dental office management software preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on patient care
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages
- Ability to work well within a team environment and maintain a professional demeanor at all times
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $55.00-$65.00 per hour
Expected hours: 21 per week
