Dental Hygienist (Part-Time, 2–3 Days/Week)
Groat Plaza Family Dentistry is a privately owned, well-established practice with a long-tenured, supportive team. What You’ll Do
- Deliver thorough periodontal assessments, including charting, risk evaluation, and individualized maintenance plans.
- Perform preventive and therapeutic hygiene care (prophylaxis, scaling and root planing, polishing, localized antimicrobials as indicated).
- Take diagnostic radiographs and support co-diagnosis.
- Provide engaging chairside education on home care, periodontal disease, and prevention tailored to each patient.
- Document accurate, complete clinical notes.
- Maintain strict infection control.
- Collaborate closely with dentists and the front-office team to ensure seamless patient experiences and efficient scheduling/recall.
What You’ll Bring
- Current dental hygiene license in good standing.
- A friendly, compassionate, people-first approach with excellent communication skills.
- 1+ years of hygiene experience preferred; strong new graduates with the right drive and attitude are welcome to apply.
- Self-motivated, organized, reliable and eager to contribute to a positive, respectful culture.
Schedule and Employment Details
- Part-time, permanent role: 2–3 days per week.
- Specific days to be finalized with the hired candidate.
- Competitive hourly rate commensurate with experience.
