We are seeking a dedicated and skilled individual to join our team as a Dental Clinic Administrator in our SE Calgary dental office.
As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a crucial role in creating a warm and welcoming environment. Your excellent communication and organizational skills will be essential in coordinating patient appointments, managing financial transactions, and ensuring the smooth functioning of the front desk operations.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Greet patients with a friendly and professional demeanor, providing exceptional customer service.
- Schedule and manage patient appointments efficiently, maintaining an organized appointment book.
- Handle patient inquiries, address concerns, and provide necessary information regarding treatments and services.
- Manage accounts receivable, process payments, and maintain accurate records of financial transactions.
- Collaborate with dental insurance companies to process claims and verify coverage for patients.
- Monitor and follow up on outstanding balances and overdue accounts, implementing effective collection procedures when necessary.
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure the efficient flow of patients and maintain a well-organized front desk area.
- Assist with other administrative tasks as required to support the smooth operation of the clinic.
Skills:
- Minimum five years of direct experience in a dental clinic reception is a must.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build positive patient relationships.
- Proficient in using dental practice management software and handling financial transactions.
- Excellent organizational abilities to manage appointments and accounts efficiently.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in processing financial data.
- Knowledge of dental insurance procedures and claim processing.
- Flexibility to work in a fast-paced and dynamic dental clinic environment.
