Our newly operated practice is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Dental Office Manager to lead our front-office operations and ensure the smooth and efficient running of our practice.
Job Summary:
The Dental Office Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily administrative operations of the dental office. This includes managing front desk staff, coordinating patient schedules, handling billing and insurance processes, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and hitting monthly production targets. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and thrives in a fast-paced healthcare setting.
Responsibilities:
Oversee day-to-day administrative functions of the dental office
Supervise and support front desk/reception and administrative staff
Schedule patient appointments and manage provider calendars
Handle patient inquiries, billing issues, and service concerns professionally
Verify insurance eligibility and submit/pre-authorize claims
Monitor office budgets, payroll, and supplies inventory
Implement office policies, procedures, and ensure compliance with OSHA, HIPAA,
and state dental board regulations
Assist with hiring, onboarding, and training staff
Generate reports related to practice performance, production, and collections
Foster a positive, team-oriented workplace culture
Qualifications:
Minimum 4-5 years of experience in a dental office manager role
Prior experience in management or supervisory role preferred
Proficiency in dental practice management software (Abeldent preferred)
Strong knowledge of dental insurance, billing, and coding
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
High level of professionalism, discretion, and integrity
CPR certification and knowledge of HIPAA/OSHA standards
