JOB SUMMERY
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Dental Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of our dental practice. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of dental office procedures. This role is critical in ensuring a smooth workflow, maintaining patient satisfaction, and managing administrative tasks effectively.
Duties
- Supervise front desk operations, ensuring efficient patient check-in and check-out processes.
- Manage appointment scheduling and coordinate patient flow to optimize office efficiency.
- Maintain accurate electronic medical records using systems such as Dentrix or Epic.
- Oversee billing processes, insurance verification, and collections to ensure financial accuracy.
- Train and support staff in administrative duties, including the use of phone systems and electronic records management.
- Ensure compliance with health regulations and maintain a clean, organized office environment.
- Address patient inquiries and concerns promptly to enhance overall patient experience.
- Collaborate with dental professionals to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
Experience
- Previous experience in a dental office or medical office setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with medical terminology related to dentistry is essential.
- Proficiency in using dental software such as Dentrix or Abeldent is highly desirable.
- Strong administrative skills with experience in managing front desk operations.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and staff.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
