Job Summary: The Treatment Coordinator will play a vital role in ensuring a smooth and efficient process for patients within our organization. This position involves coordinating patient care, managing the schedule, and facilitating communication between patients, dentists, and administrative staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Coordination: Serve as the primary point of contact for patients, guiding them through the treatment process from initial consultation to completion
- Scheduling: Manage appointment scheduling and follow-up visits, ensuring optimal use of provider time and patient availability
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with organizational policies and regulations.
- Insurance Coordination: Assist patients in understanding their insurance benefits, submitting claims, and addressing any billing inquiries
Qualifications:
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Dental administration experience
- Dentrix experience is an asset
