We have a fantastic opportunity for a full time Level II Certified Dental Assistant to become a valued member of our Deer Ridge Periodontics team!

QUALIFICATIONS
- Public Health Ontario - IPAC certification
- First Aid / CPR - BLS certification for Healthcare Providers
- HARP Certification
- CDA Level II certification / diploma
- 2 + years experience working as a CDA Level II
- Periodontal dental knowledge and four handed dentistry experience is key
SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
- Excellent time management, and interpersonal skills
- Excellent chair side manner with patients
- Able to reliably commute; excellent attendance and punctuality
- Self-directed and autonomous; provides leadership within clinical team
- Excellent record keeping skills, documentation skills, and attention to detail
- Organized, efficient, multi-tasker, maintains a tidy work space in a fast paced environment
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Experience in complex chairside surgical dental assisting
- Demonstrated proficiency in taking XRAYS, and good understanding of dental terminology and instrumentation
This is a full time position. The successful candidate will be able to work the following hours:
- Mondays: every other Monday, 8 am to approx. 2pm (Kitchener)
- Tuesdays: 8am to 3pm (Kitchener)
- Wednesdays: 8am to 4:30pm (Kitchener)
- Thursdays: 7:30am to 3pm (Stratford)
- Fridays: 7am to 3:30pm (Kitchener)
