We're looking to hire an experienced, enthusiastic Dental Assistant to work with our team for a Part-Time position (leading to Full Time).
Ideal candidate should have an outgoing personality, excellent communication skills, be confident, energetic, friendly, a team player and willing to learn.
Qualifications
- Computer skills and experience with Dentrix, ClearDent
- Valid CPR certification
- Registered Dental Assistant (RDA II)
- Minimum 1 to 3 Years experience
Responsibilities:
- Clinical chair side assisting
- Patient management, review and update health history and treatment planning with Dentist
- Sterilization
- Organization, cleaning, set up and take down of treatment rooms
- Cleaning, Maintenance of instrumentation, IPC and dental supplies
- Patient notes and laboratory coordination
- Help with the coordination of patient treatment planning and bookings with the front office staff
- Establish strong patient relationships while maintaining ethical professional behavior
- Maintain a detailed understanding of current practice health and safety requirements
- Knowledge of Dentrix, ClearDent software
- Proficient in taking X-rays & familiar with iTero scanner
