We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a crucial role in educating patients about oral hygiene practices while assisting in various dental procedures. Duties
- Perform thorough dental cleanings and examinations for patients of all ages, including pediatric and orthodontic cases.
- Utilize Cleardent software for patient record management, scheduling, and treatment planning.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
- Document patient histories, treatment plans, and progress notes accurately.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure patient safety and comfort.
- Provide excellent customer service to enhance patient experience and satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Friendly, gentle, and compassionate with patients
- Excellent communication and chairside manner
- Passion for patient education and preventive dental care
- Ability to educate patients on oral hygiene and dental health practices
- Team-oriented, reliable, and professional attitude
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality care
- Valid registration and license to practice as a Dental Hygienist in Alberta
