Summary
We are seeking a skilled Dental Hygienist to join our friendly team in Cochrane. This role is vital in delivering exceptional dental care and ensuring our patients' oral health needs are met with professionalism and compassion. This is a part-time position leading to full-time.
Responsibilities
- Perform dental cleanings, examinations, and patient education to promote oral health.
- Collaborate with dentists and staff to develop and implement personalized treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate patient records using ClearDent software.
- Assist in managing patient appointments and ensuring a smooth clinic flow.
- Provide excellent customer service to all patients.
- Adhere to all safety and health regulations to maintain a safe environment.
- Support the dental team with various clinical tasks as needed.
Qualifications
- Valid license as a Dental Hygienist in the province of Alberta.
- Valid CPR certification
- Proven experience with ClearDent or similar dental practice management software.
- Strong knowledge of orthodontics, pediatrics, and general dental procedures.
- Excellent communication skills are considered a strong asset.
- Compassionate with a focus on patient care and education.
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment. Prior experience is preferred.
