Summary:
We're looking to hire an experienced, enthusiastic Dental Assistant to work with our team for a Full-Time (FT) position.
Ideal candidate should have an outgoing personality, excellent clinical and communication skills, be confident, energetic, friendly, a team player and willing to learn.
Qualifications:
- Registered Dental Assistant (RDA II) License in Alberta
- Valid CPR certification
- Computer skills and experience with ClearDent
- 1 to 3 Years experience (new grads can apply)
Responsibilities:
- Clinical chair side assisting
- Patient management, review and update health history and treatment planning with Dentist
- Sterilization
- Organization, cleaning, set up and take down of treatment rooms
- Cleaning, Maintenance of instrumentation, IPC and dental supplies
- Patient notes and laboratory coordination
- Help with the coordination of patient treatment planning and bookings with the front office staff
- Establish strong patient relationships while maintaining ethical professional behavior
- Maintain a detailed understanding of current practice health and safety requirements
- Knowledge of ClearDent or similar software
- Proficient in taking X-rays and familiar with iTero scanner
