Overview
We are seeking a professional and organized Dental Receptionist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for patients, manage appointment scheduling, and handle administrative tasks with efficiency and a friendly demeanor. This role is essential in ensuring smooth daily operations and providing excellent patient service. Prior experience in dental, along with proficiency in electronic dental records, is highly valued. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, familiarity with dental software such as Tracker and the ability to manage multi-line phone systems effectively.
Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly and professionally upon arrival, creating a welcoming environment.
- Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments using dental practice management software
- Answer multi-line phone systems promptly and courteously, directing calls appropriately.
- Verify patient insurance information and update dental records accurately.
- Collect payments and process billing transactions efficiently at the front desk.
- Maintain organized patient records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Assist with administrative duties such as patient intake, dental data entry to support daily office operations.
- Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow throughout the day.
- Manage correspondence and respond to patient inquiries professionally.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Dental Receptionist or in a dental office setting is preferred not required ( dental administration program)
- Proficiency with dental practice management software such as Tracker is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to handle multi-line phone systems efficiently while maintaining professionalism.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Office experience demonstrating administrative competence in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
