Treatment Coordinator – BluSky Dental
Are you a master of communication who loves helping patients say "Yes" to their health?
BluSky Dental is looking for an experienced Treatment Coordinator who is passionate about patient care, an expert at navigating insurance, and driven to keep our doctors' schedules productive.
The Mission: Closing the Gap Between Diagnosis and Care
As our Treatment Coordinator, you are the final point of contact before a patient starts their journey to a healthier smile. You take the doctor’s clinical findings and turn them into a clear, achievable plan for the patient.
Ideal Candidate: We are looking for someone with dental front-office experience. If you have a background as a Dental Assistant, that is a huge plus, as your clinical knowledge will help you explain procedures with confidence and authority.
Key Responsibilities
- Driving Production Goals: You take ownership of the doctor’s daily and monthly production targets. You don't just "fill the time"; you strategically schedule high-value cases to ensure the office hits its growth milestones.
- Case Presentation: Sit knee-to-knee with patients to explain treatment plans, answer "Why do I need this?" and move them from "I'll think about it" to "Let's schedule it."
- Insurance Navigation: You are the expert. You'll verify coverage, calculate co-pays, and help patients maximize their benefits so there are no financial surprises.
- Financial Arrangements: Confidently discuss payment options, third-party financing (like CareCredit), and in-house plans.
- Strategic Scheduling: You understand the "flow" of a dental office. You know how to balance complex procedures with shorter checks to maximize the doctor’s time and energy.
- Relentless Follow-Up: You track "pending treatment" like a hawk. You are proactive about calling patients who walked out without scheduling to get them back on the books.
What You Need to Succeed
- A Goal-Oriented Mindset: You enjoy the "game" of hitting production numbers and feel a sense of pride when the day runs smoothly and profitably.
- 2+ Years of Dental Experience: Required. Clinical assisting experience is a major advantage for explaining technical details.
- The "Hustle": You understand that a productive schedule doesn't happen by accident. You are proactive, not reactive.
- Empathy & Education: You care about the patient’s wellbeing. You can explain a root canal or a crown in a way that eases anxiety while stressing the urgency of care.
Why BluSky Dental?
- Not Corporate: No soul-less quotas or rigid red tape. We focus on quality care and a positive team culture.
- Impact: In this role, you are the primary driver of the office’s success. When the doctors hit their goals, the whole team wins.
- Stability: Join a local business that is thriving and invested in the community.
- Competitive wage: Open to negotiation.
