Job Summary
We are seeking a SKILLED and EXPERIENCED Dental Receptionist/Treatment Coordinator, MINIMUM 3 years experience, to join our fantastic team.
The ideal candidate has the ability to cope in a fast paced environment. Multitasking and the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively are essential. Must have a professional and positive demeanor, collaborating with dental team to ensure smooth front desk operations.
Responsibilities
- Greet patients and visitors in a courteous, professional and welcoming manner
- Proficiency scheduling appointments, phone systems and medical records
- Coordinate referral to specialists and follow-up on patient appointments.
- Verify insurance coverage and assist with billing and payment processing.
- Scheduling appointments for the dentist , ensuring that treatment plan estimates have been given to the patient and predeterminations have been sent to insurance providers.
- Handle patient inquiries and provide accurate information
- Assist with other administrative duties as needed
Financial Transactions:
- Handling billing procedures, issuing invoices, and processing payments.
- Managing insurance claims and liaising with insurance companies to ensure accurate billing and reimbursement.
- Verifying patients' insurance coverage, including eligibility and benefits, to ensure accurate billing and inform patients of any potential out-of-pocket costs.
- Account Receivable follow up every month
Skills
- Proficiency in dental office procedures and terminology
- Experience with dental software system.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
