To strengthen our leadership and systems, we are seeking a Reception Desk Support Manager who will oversee day-to-day operations with customer service, appointment bookings and insurance claim/paymetn processing . This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, people-focused, and eager to contribute to the growth of a professional healthcare team.
Position Overview:
We are looking for an individual that possesses both dental and management knowledge for this leadership role. We are looking for someone comfortable working in a collaborative team with like-minded managment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review schedule bookings for patient care with dentists and hygieneists.
- Provide leadership and support to our existing roster of Reception Desk staff and Clinical Team.
- Lead by example with exception Reception Desk customer service support.
- Monitor patient payment arrangements and collections in coordination with our other managers.
- Track and report key financial metrics (collections %, AR days, case acceptance rates).
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience as an office manager (dental/medical preferred).
- Knowledge of dental insurance processes and reception desk best practices.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Experience with dental practice software (ClearDent) and leadership
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $31.00-$45.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
