Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Orthodontic Registered Dental Assistant to join our friendly and progressive orthodontic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in orthodontic assisting and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care. Duties
- Assist dentists during Ortho examinations and procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared in advance.
- Take orthodontic photos and unload them into Dolphin Imaging.
- Take dental radiographs (X-rays) such as PAN and CEPH as needed.
- Maintain accurate patient records using Dentrix.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene, orthodontic treatment and ongoing care plans.
- Manage scheduling and patient flow to ensure an efficient and positive experience for the patient.
- Handle administrative tasks such setting complete appointments in Dentrix and ensuring timely follow-up visits.
- Support Orthodontist in in all clinical procedures.
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a clean, organized environment.
Skills
- Certified Orthodontic Dental Assistant (RDA II with Ortho Module Required) with a minimum of 3yrs experience as an Ortho RDA.
- Proficient in orthodontic techniques for both traditional braces and Invisalign.
- Strong computer and software skills, including Dentrix and Dolphin Imaging.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with patients and team members.
- Detail-oriented, dependable, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with iTero scanning is an asset.

- Monday 9am - 4/5pm
- Tuesday 9am - 4pm
- Wednesday 9am - 4pm
- Thursday Off
- Friday 9am - 4pm
- Occasional Saturday (once every 1-2 months) 9am - 4pm
