We are a locally owned practice seeking a motivated and experienced Orthodontic Dental Assistant to join our team in a friendly and fast-paced orthodontic practice. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in orthodontics. The schedule will consist of a mix of morning, evening, and weekend shifts.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the orthodontist with clinical procedures, including bonding, debonding, wire changes, impressions, and other chairside duties
- Prepare and maintain treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and ensure a clean and organized work environment
- Take dental radiographs and intraoral photographs
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and appliance care
- Accurately document patient information and charting
- Provide excellent patient care and communication
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of orthodontic dental assisting experience (required)
- Valid dental assisting certification/license
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
- Reliable and punctual
- Team player and open to feedback
