We are a busy, growth-oriented dental clinic hiring a Treatment Coordinator to support the day-to-day administrative operations of the clinic. This role is ideal for an experienced dental administrator who is highly organized, dependable under pressure, and strong at follow-through.
This is a hands-on role for an experienced dental administrator who will support the front desk function and be accountable for consistent execution of our administrative processes. You will work closely with practice leadership to implement improvements, maintain strong follow-through, and ensure day-to-day workflows are completed accurately and on time. The role includes meaningful involvement in front desk operations, along with responsibility for accounts receivable routines, scheduling support, and general administrative organization.
Key responsibilities
- Support daily front desk workflows (as needed based on clinic demand)
- Ensure administrative processes are completed consistently and correctly
- Support scheduling and patient flow to help maintain an organized day
- Take hands-on responsibility for accounts receivable routines, including insurance follow-ups and patient balance workflows
- Maintain clear documentation and ensure consistent weekly progress on outstanding items
- Assist with onboarding support and administrative coordination when required
- Maintain discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive information
Required qualifications (please apply only if you meet these)
- 1+ years experience in a dental clinic environment (more is an asset)
- Strong experience with scheduling workflows, patient communication, and administrative operations
- Proven hands-on experience with accounts receivable, insurance claims follow-up, and patient balance workflows
- Familiarity with Ontario dental insurance workflows (coordination of benefits, predeterminations, claim follow-up)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; calm, professional, and firm when needed
- Highly organized, reliable, and comfortable working with expectations and deadlines
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
- English required; French strongly preferred
